Speaking of members - our top priority is finding them. We're open for affiliation, but it should be known that if our button doesn't go up on your site a week after yours goes up on ours, yours is going down and affiliation must be re-applied.
NOTE THAT ABF IS IN TESTING MODE.
I'm giving it a few months to see if the unorthodox plotline is a hit with people. If not, ABF will change to a generic evil/good/neutral wolf RPG.
Site description: Black Moon is a realistic wolf roleplay site with a hint of fantasy, because it allows some odd colors. Its like a freeform wolf RPG. What ever happens depends on the pack members and whoever else may be lurking with in the packs.

In the vast land where wolves run, though rarely disturbed by humans, there is not always peace. Mother nature isn't always kind and motherly to us, and sometimes brethren don't act like brothers. In a world with so much conflict and disruption, how do we live? Here, your paw prints from every paw step will tell that story.
Dark Days is a fairly realistic semi-literate-literate wolf role play that takes place in Canada. That means do not expect to see wolves with wings or other strange appendages, or very strangely colored wolves. We do tolerate some unrealistic things, however, but not as much as fantasy wolves.
As a brand new site, Dark Days has open admin and moderator spaces! Also, we have two spots to claim territory for a pack! Currently we have no plot, but a loose one will soon be developed.

Dawn of The Ages
Once, in the peaceful land of Afirnesia, lived 2 great packs of Dire wolves. One pack evil. Another good.The good pack was called Northern Sky pack, the evil one Southern Ocean pack.. They had actually developed armor and weapon enhancers. There was a prophecy shared by the two packs.
There shall be two who will come to save us from disaster
One who has been taught evil, one good. They shall come together and save our land. Kin against kin, brother against Brother.
Then, one night, a female gave birth to two healthy males. She called them Canoran and Saven. Their father was from the evil clan, mother from good. They decided to split the pups at birth. The father taking Saven. The mother taking Canoran. Canoran was raise never knowing he had a brother, the same for Saven. A war broke out between packs by that time Canoran was a respected young leader, and Saven a cruel wolf who ruled with not love, but an iron fist. The two clashed in battle both equally matched. They are dead, but their children, not knowingly, are descended. Whom will show out to be true leaders from their divine ancestry? Only you can figure it out.

Name: Shial Age: 2 years Gender: Female Species: Dire wolf Appearance: Shial has a deep purple fur, and pink fur tips. She has pink on her ears, her scruff, mixed in with the purple fur on her back and sides, and also on the tip of her tail. Her underside is a dark shade of blue, blending the three colours together. She has red eyes and a pink nose. She has large paws with long claws, a thin and powerful muzzle and jaw, and very think fur. Her fur is soft and shiny, and very well kept. Shial has a few scars. One is across her muzzle, and one is down her right eye.
THE CHANGES
Magic: Shial is able to see into the future. Sometimes, her visions are fuzzy... But most of the time, she can see clearly. Alliance: Impartial Accessories: Shial's ears are pierced two times each.
INSIDE
Personality: Shial is very nice, but she can snap very easily. She snaps at the smallest things, but is kindhearted. She hates hurting people feelings, unless they hurt her.
Strengths: She isn't the strongest wolf ever, but she sure can run. She loves to fight, and will take the chance if given. Weaknesses: Strength is her biggest weakness, and she hates it when her loved ones are put at risk.
Personal Goals: Shial wants to be able to control her anger more, and not kill any. She wants to be a loner, because she dislikes packs that fight so much over such stupid things.
History: Shial doesn't remember any of her past, but she thinks she will regain her memory little by little.
Sample Roleplay Post: Shial silently walked along the line of dead trees. I hate winter so much... She thought. [i]It's always so dark, and there's no good game around here. [i/] She looked around at the deserted area. She sensed a small rabbit near her. She crouched down, and hunched her shoulders up, ready for attack. She twitched her tail, and then jumped at the rabbit. She landed on it, but didn't kill it right away. She missed, but snapped at it's neck, with so much force it hurt her teeth. She could have shattered the bones of the small animal. She whimpered softly, then snarled. She locked her jaws on the neck on the squirming rabbit, breaking his neck. She chuckled softly under her breath and unlocked her jaws. She then licked the blood from he teeth and maw. When she was finished, she softly ate her fill of the rabbit. When she was finished, she ran toward the trees, the rest of the animal in hr mouth. The blood trickled down her throat, tasting so good she had to stop nd eat more. She hated the life alone... She wanted one other to share her life with. She sighed softly, as not to scare the singing birds in the trees above. "I want someone to share my life with." She said to herself. "Just one." She then continued walking off, leaving the carcass to rot on the edge of the dark forest.

.::.They have all been secretly living among us. Looking like everyone else, they are anything but uncommon. Possibly your best friend, boyfriend or girlfriend, or even your dog. Their minds are one of brilliance and their faces are exceptionally beautiful. Flawless. The only purpose in their life, the only goal of their entire existence, their only chance at survival is keeping the secret. Their lifespan is eternal, unless they can control themselves and they can choose if they want the changing to stop. Mortal or Immortal? As they learn the power of discipline, they have a better chance. Though this takes some time. The wolves and humans are oblivious of their interlacing lives. However the secret is hard to keep to yourself, you cannot control it until you gain the experience. What happens if someone slips? If their control breaks loose? What if ... the code is broken? Personality: Patrick is sweet and kind yet make him angry is a death wish. He has the goodness to everyone at some point. But evil will still stay in his heart. He dosen’t enjoy most things and he is proud to be an animal. He can get quick tempered but soon will calm down. However he will protect anyone who he cares for.
Strengths: Patrick isn’t the fastest animal, however he is good at fighting, tracking and Meditation
Weaknesses: Speed, stamina and loved one at stake.
Personal Goals: His goal is that he could be alpha, beta or fighter.
History: being knocked out a couple of times Patrick had instantly lost memory of his puphood
Sample Role play Post: The sun had just ascended up to the blue sky as a Smaw looked both ways at a herd of deer. His stomach growled hungrily and he trotted to an old dead bull. He scabbed Swiftly as a shadow was over him. Patrick looked up nervously and saw a giant bear. Patrick gave a warning growl to the bear and the Swam raised his tail. The bear ignored the warnings and roared fiercely. Patrick jumped trying to reach the throat but the bear whack him on to his back. Patrick whined and ran before there was more damage He opened his eyes again and saw a white wolf, she jumped onto the bear’s back and bit it hard The bear looked back at Patrick and then ran off. The Swam shook his head and check again. No one was there but a little blood was on the fresh green grass. It must be my crazy imaginations again He thought as he ran back to the carcass. He was lucky that time but something made him think about the day dream. He sighed and looked over his shoulder where there was a view of mountains. Patrick continued eating until his gut was full and looked for some hares to chase…

War
The ancient war between the Vampires and Werewolves have stopped, a truce having formed between the two races. They live in peace, and out of the knowledge of the human world. There are a few humans that know of the two though, but the peace is still kept. For a while that is.
Some Vampires and Werewolves do not agree with the treaty. They are opposed to each other, and have formed secret underground cults and gangs. they war with each other under the guise of human gangs. The covens and pack, are still very clueless as to what is happening.
News reports have been marking that the gang territory of some areas is increasing or decreasing. The Vampires and Werewolves are getting suspicious. They met, and threw around their ideas. The peace may not stay. Chaos is around the humans' knowledge. Suspicions are around. What will you do?
