This part of the forest is breathtakingly beautiful during autumn months, as all the leaves on the trees turn various shades of golden-yellow and rusty orange. Most of the trees are unimpressive as far as size goes, but a few are large enough for a canine to make a decent-sized den out of the roots. Common prey around these parts are squirrels and the occasional rabbit.
