THE BASICS
Name: Faux
Age: 3 and a half years
Gender: Female
Species: Mutated Timber Wolf
Appearance: Faux is of an average size, neither abnormally large nor terrifyingly small. Her body is slim, and lean, and her muscles are well-developed. Her muzzle is slim and a bit long for her species, being about an inch longer than most. Her legs are of average length. Her pelt settles on a solid bone-structure with muscles tightly and efficiently wound around them. She is especially muscular around her jaw and shoulder area, and also around her back legs. She is a marvelous jumper, and can make great leaps with the strength of her back legs. Her pelt is soft, rarely tangled, and is rather short. It grows longer and thicker at her neck, shoulder, chest, and stomach area.
The oddest thing about Faux is her pelt. It is split sharply into two, from the mid-part of her nose, between her ears, down her back, down her tail, underneath her tail, across her stomach, belly, chest, neck, lower part of her muzzle, and back to her nose. The pelt is split into two colors, the left side being black, and the right side being white. Her left eye is a dark, deep red, and her right eye is a light, icy blue.
THE CHANGES
Magic: She has the ability to make duplicates of herself, up to three at a time. Faux can control these duplicates and order them to do things, including hunting, attacking, or simply to fool others. These duplicates separate themselves from her when she wants, appearing to walk out of her body. They are able to feel pain, but cannot die. Instead, when they “die”, they simply dissolve into a cloud of dust, after which the dust vanishes as if it were never there. When Faux dubs the clones’ deeds as done, they merge back into her – if they are not already “dead”, of course.
Alliance: Chaotic.

INSIDE
Personality: Dear Faux has, what could be called, Dissociative Identity Disorder, in which she has two…well, personalities. She is thus prone to extreme mood-swings and unpredictability.
On one side, her constant side, she is aloof, and dislikes company. She is aggressive, easily angered, and irritable. She hates it when wolves ask questions, and often answers them with a sarcastic or blunt comment. She plows on, hurting others’ feelings without meaning to or without knowing. Faux is rather insensitive and could be described as a brat. She is often enveloped with selfish feelings, wanting the best for herself and often for no one else. As long as her skin is saved, she doesn’t care who dies. She is extremely blunt, and manipulative. She usually tells the truth, but when she wants something, she doesn’t care about anything else – she’ll lie, and scheme, and kill to get it. Faux is extremely intelligent, and has a calculating mind. She speaks without emotion unless angered, and will often weigh others and what they say in her mind, calculating whether they’re worth living or not. If she sees a traitor, either to the pack or herself, she’ll attempt to kill him or her without a second thought. She acts on impulse and ambition, not emotion.
Now, it’s quite clear that, without her other side, Faux would be a truly vicious and conniving wolf. Thanks to her split persona, however, her anger and turmoil is balanced with a sort of light. She is a patriotic wolf with this other side, trying to get to know others before she makes a judgment. She is willing to help others, and has a sort of empathy for what others feel. She wants others to feel good and safe.
Strengths:
+ good fighter
+ lots of power in her back legs and jaw
+ due to her split personality, she can analyze and assess things with two different minds, and thus is prone to have a two-sided (whole) view on things
+ she makes good judgments on other wolves, due to her split-side
+ whether she likes it or not, due to her split side, she has a sort of empathy for what other wolves feel, although she mostly ignores it
Weaknesses:
- not a fast runner
- often acts on impulse
- due to her split personalities, she is extremely difficult to predict and this may result in extreme chaos and turmoil on her part
- prone to hurting others’ feelings without ill intention
- she is extremely ambitious
Personal Goals: She wishes to become a famous wolf, not only for her power, but also for her fighting skills. She also aspires to become the pack dame.
History: n/a; I wish to develop it in-character.
Sample Roleplay Post:
The air smelled of flowers. The air was so fragrant it was sickening. A shudder passed through the black-and-white female, as she padded quietly among the underbrush. Her pelt brushed against the leaves and twigs softly, and Faux grimaced slightly as a few twigs snapped underneath her. Just a few hours ago, she’d seen a small family of rabbits lurking about, and now she was hungry. She could smell them faintly underneath the flowery musk that blanketed the area, and the wolf had half the mind to send some clones to search for her in the other areas of the forest.
Ears pricked, and nose twitched as the wolf’s gaze flickered toward a small hole near the roots of a tree. After a few moments of staring at it, blankly, with multi-colored eyes, the wolf crept toward it, making sure not to step on any twigs. As soon as she was near it, the wolf bent her head low to scent.
Damn. The rabbits were gone.
Faux knew she should have just grabbed a rabbit when she smelled them. Now her chance was gone. Cursing under her breath, the wolf turned, about to leave, when a twitch of bracken caught her eye. Blinking, she peered at it, before slowly circling around the tree to get closer. She took a whiff of air, and smirked inwardly. The rabbits were definitely in there. A feral grin crossed her muzzle, and she crept toward the bracken.
Anyone watching would have watched with fascination, for suddenly the wolf seemed to split into two. Now a perfect duplicate was crouching beside the wolf, its eyes eager and thrilled at the prospect of the hunt. Faux glanced at the clone, before creeping toward the bracken. Mentally, she ordered the clone to go around. Red and blue flashed, and the duplicate snuck around. It was at that point that, calculating, Faux leaped. The duplicate did as well. Faux’s hind legs, wonderfully muscled and bound, gave her higher jump. Leaves and debris scattered as her paws and legs left the ground.
The rabbits within the bracken squeaked at the double assault, and tumbled out of the bracken. Faux and the duplicate lunged, teeth snapping, for one of the larger rabbits. It fell as Faux managed to snag its scruff. At that moment, the duplicate merged with her, and, yet again, anyone watching would have watched with awe.
A quick blow to the head with a paw, and the rabbit died, moments before the she-wolf tore into its brown fur. Blood seeped onto Faux’s pelt, staining the white part of her red. Red and blue glazed over with bloodlust as she began to eat.
